Our radio system (St Clair County's Illinois Starcom 21) directly links us to all Fire Departments, Police Departments, Ambulances, etc. We are able to directly talk to these emergency vehicles at any time. Historically, we have communicated with Fire departments and Police Departments during severe thunderstorms and snow events. Stookey employees also monitor this talkgroup quite often when off duty. We will continue this communication. The County's 911 center also has all the employees cell phone numbers for urgent situations. When a different department has an issue, we will be there to assist in any way possible as we have in the past
